The Compagnie des Magasins Populaires Ltee [Ltd] has been operating in the retail sector since 1975. It is the accredited representative of the French retailing group Monoprix – a network of 300 shops worldwide. Monoprix is strategically positioning itself as an up market retail provider. It has uplifted the offer and services of its unique supermarket and successfully launched the first of its self service mini markets – a new convenience urban style concept meant for strategic niche locations, with an offer at the right price for easy and fast shopping.

Harel Mallac Engineering is one of the oldest activity sectors of the Group. It yields about 18% of the Group turnover and is composed of 4 pillars: Refrigeration & Electrical Agrochemicals & Hardware Industrial Engineering Agro industrial. We have accompanied the industrial diversification of the country from sugar, to agro industry, through textile and have established a solid reputation as a reliable provider of quality products and services. With our long experience, know how and newly acquired autonomy we are fully geared to manage innovation and generate expansion.

Harel Mallac International

This SBU has been set up in line with the Groups’ strategic imperatives to compensate for expected stagnation in growth locally through international development. It now provides the Group’s overseas operations with country based management teams grouped into 7 subsidiaries – 1 in Mauritius, 2 in Mayotte and 4 in Madagascar. This SBU’s priority is to expand these operations, to develop other overseas ones and bring in new development opportunities.

Harel Mallac Outsourcing, pioneered the era of IT Services Outsourcing in the country more than three decades ago when one of it''s subsidiaries started providing computer services to companies of the local sugar Industries.

From basic data preparation, data entry, data hosting and data processing activities in the 1970''s, the company has made giant strides and has evolved into a major ITES and IT Services vendor in the country.

Although most of its IT services are presently destined to the local market today all of its IT enabled Services (Call Centre & Back Office Solutions) are exported to Europe and the USA. Harnessing a robust and reliable technological platform, staffed by a young and talented workforce with expertise in a variety of areas of IT and ITES, led by a forward looking and ambitious management team, HM outsourcing is fast becoming a leading vendor of ITES and IT products and services to the global IT market.
